How to kill time when days are getting longer and darker and stuff

Hey. Am i the only one who misses the good old takingpicturesofmysocksandpetsandteacupandtellingsmallthingaboutmyday- blogs? Now it seems to be all about hauls, advertisement posts and you know, all around trying to make money out of it. Nothing wrong with that tho, what could be cooler than making living out of something as fun as writing! But still, i miss the blogs that almost every of us had back in the days. So pure and innocent! Anywho, that´s what i am gonna do now, just brainlessly tell about my useless life. Fun!
And since the big bad winter is every day closer, reminding of itself by cold wind that will rip your fingers off, people usually prefer inside life. And when you have watched all series (first the ones you love, and after that all that you can tolerate), eated so much crap that you already hate yourself, and you don´t even wanna take naps no more. What do u do then? Imma tell you now!

Healthy baking

These days we are lucky with this stuff, because thanks to internet, everyone is able to make healthy versions of literally any goodies. Ingredient can seem pretty expensive tho, but i have some tips here for you:
-Use sunflowerseeds. For example, if there is 2 cups of nuts in recipe, you can atleast replace 1 cup with these, will make it little cheaper, not less tasty.
-Use honey. Let´s say there is agavesyrup in recipe, well put honey instead. That stuff is rich in antioxidants, and it helps body with inflammations. Also usually it´s easiest to find honey made in your own country. I like to prefer stuff produced close as possible. So when you choose honey, make sure it is domestic. We actually buy our honey from our friend that has own bee farm. And for those who thinks that it´s evil to take honey from the bees, i understand your concern. But let me tell you something to help you sleep better next night. World is struggling of the lack of wild fields, with wild flowers, that bees needs to live. And as we all should know by now, there is no life without our loved pollinators. So, producing honey with respect for nature, you can help the system, and you give them bees opportunity to live. And not all the honey are taken away, just some of it.
-Bananas. Dried, fresh, frozen, fried... Okay so you can try and bake bananabread or bananacupcakes (you will have to hit that google for recipes, since i just started this blogging journey and have nothing to share yet! But the idea in a nutshell will be replacing sugar and atleast some of the flours with banana) or how about deep fried bananas with homemade frozen yoghurt and honey? I know, deep fried anything doesn´t sound too healthy. Well, it´s not TOO healthy. But you can atleast make it all the way without wheat and white sugar, and that´s a good start!

I can actually dive in to these money saving tips a little better with other post. Otherwise this will be too long and complicated you know.

Pimp your old clothes

This is fun! If you have closet full of ugly-ass clothes that you for some reason won´t give away, raise your hand. Okay they don´t have to be ugly-ass. Just useless for you as they are. Especially pinterest will give you handfull of ideas for those! And hey, if you fail, you can always turn those into cleaning rags. Yay!

If you have pets, teach them tricks

Yeea, spend some quality time with your furry homies. I have two cats, and i want to teach atleast for the kitten some funny stuff, like:
-Pawshake
-Sit
-Fetch (she loves to carry stuff in her mouth anyway so it shouldnt be too hard!)
-Jumping on shoulder (we´ll see, for now she is not the biggest fan)
With cats, it´s pretty much what is your cats interest. Possibly much more to do with doggo, since they naturally wants to please you a bit more.

Yoga, stretching...

I knoow i know, that´s what they all recommend. But how many actually does it regularly? I know i don´t. But oh those moments when it´s windy and rainy outside, and i make cup of my favorite tea, put on relaxing music, light up the scented candles (such cliché, but it really is nice!!) and land my ass on the floor. Then i just breathe, deeply. Stretch eyes closed. It gives me so much energy. And i do it maybe two times in a year. Why tho!

Start making DIY christmas gifts

Oh yes, that warms my soul a little. Atleast there is christmas coming! And even if someone (almost everyone) would find it manic to do christmas things this early, it´s really not. Infact, if you are planning to give gifts made by your own bare hands, straight outta your heart, the time is now. Less stress when the christmas is actually behind the door!
There is so many things that you can make, and again, made easy for people! I will definitely share this topic in several posts in near future, but here for the starters:
-Knitworks, if you can (i can´t)
-Fudge (endless list of variations! Try: liquorice, lemon, chili, wintery spices like cinnamon and cardamom, nuts, honey...)
-Chocolate, and same thing with variations!
-Bathing salt

That´s me. It works, time flies!

That´s all i got for now. Hopefully u catch some ideas. Now i could drop few things about this day. There is nothing too special tho. I start my school in few weeks, so now i´m at home most of the time hahh. Today our kitten had her second vaccination, we went there by bike and oh man she is so brave little one. And actually liked to be at the vet too. Ofcourse i forgot her papers at home, so i need to go back there today. Soon. As soon as i have energy to drag my butt there. I also had dog poop under my shoe today, and as i walked inside with shoes on (bad bad girl) i had dog poop all over the floors. So this goes to the dog owners who leaves their doggos poop on the middle of the street, sshame on you! That´s no fun. I was actually really upset about that.



I like to do granola by myself, because it´s so flippin easy and granola from the market it so damn expensive, and usually there is just oat and raisins, with few funny nuts. In this version we have rolled oats, almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, cashews, cranberries, honey and a little bit of oil to make better roast. What you need to do, is mix everything in big bowl, put on baking tray loosely, not in chunks, and roast 5-10min in about 175 degrees. And then u just put it in the fancy jar and eat when u want, for example with natural yoghurt.

And look at our little adventurer! We were in the forest, just having fire and making tea, she likes it there. In the future, hopefully we can take her to over night trips too. I believe so, she seems to be the kind of cat that will get used to these things. She even peed when we were there, and that´s a good sign.
