Bohemian makeover
I have this pretty old (not antique old, but like 20 or 30 years) chest. First it was this boring wooden color, not the cool kind at all. So many years back we painted it with my sister. It was supposed to be bright white, but turned out to be more like grey. Well, that´s okay, not as bad as before.
Years flew, chest served nicely. But then the day showed up, when i noticed. It´s time to renovate this old feller. You can see the top in the pictures, not too pretty huh! I wanted something more colorful too... And happened to have spraypaints...
Before taking photos came into my mind i had already put the papers. But there is not much to see, most of them scratches are on the top anyway. Sides were just dirty and grey.
Thadaa! Fun fact, there is no drawers. I just sticked there some handles cuz it looked so empty. I might add more colors some day. I made template out of cardboard, it lasted this one painting session. I wanted to use some material that would last if i want to re-use it, but cardboard was all i had.
Today is May Day (or Walpurgis night), and nice, warm spring-weather. I might go for a walk with my cat. Then i will warm up this awesome lambstew with home-grew chili... Then i have crackers and bluecheese... And sauna in the evening! Boyfriend went tenting with his friend. So i can spend much wanted and waited alone time :-) Bye now!
